Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia

Abstract

A 47 year old man presented with fever and weakness, later diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukemia based on clinical, cytogenetic, and molecular findings. Treatment included all trans retinoic acid, prednisolone, and arsenic trioxide. Complications such as differentiation syndrome and disseminated intravascular coagulation were managed during hospitalization.
