Abstract

This randomized clinical trial compares milrinone and dobutamine in patients with cardiogenic shock. The study enrolled 192 participants, assigning them to either drug to assess outcomes like mortality, cardiac arrest, mechanical circulatory support, and renal therapy. No significant differences were found between the two groups across primary and secondary outcomes, including in-hospital death, adverse events, and resuscitation markers. The trial concludes that both agents are clinically equivalent in managing cardiogenic shock within the studied population
