Testicular Tuberculosis
Abstract
A 42-year-old man presented with painless enlargement of the left testicle over two months. Despite negative tumor markers and absence of constitutional symptoms, MRI revealed a lobulated mass. Radical inguinal orchiectomy was performed, uncovering necrotic nodules. Histology showed granulomatous inflammation, caseous necrosis, and acid-fast bacilli. PCR confirmed Mycobacterium tuberculosis. No pulmonary involvement was detected, and the patient responded well to a 9-month antituberculosis regimen, remaining healthy at 1-year follow-up.
