Herpes Simplex Dendritic Keratitis

Abstract

 A 38-year-old man with a prior corneal transplant presented with symptoms including tearing and reduced vision. Examination revealed herpes simplex dendritic keratitis affecting the corneal graft. Diagnosis was confirmed via slit-lamp and fluorescein staining. Treatment with topical 3% acyclovir ointment led to complete recovery within 10 days.
